About This Annual Leave Calculator

Under the National Employment Standards (NES), full-time and part-time employees in Australia accrue four weeks of paid annual leave each year, building up progressively as you work. Part-time leave is pro-rata to the hours you work. Casual employees do not accrue paid annual leave โ€” they receive casual loading instead.

This is general information only and not legal or workplace advice. Some shift workers are entitled to five weeks. Check your award, enterprise agreement or the Fair Work Ombudsman for your exact entitlement.
